Very fresh news straight from the “Startup Fair Pitch Battle 2021”! 40 startups competed to win the best startup name during the Lithuanian startup pitching contest “Startup Fair Pitch Battle” which was held in two days event, 3 and 4 of June.

The participants were from AgTech, SaaS, Health Tech, e-commerce, Artificial intelligence, Machine learning, and other fields. As we can see from the fields they are working on, the pitching sessions managed to grab everyone’s attention!

After a really tense contest, a startup Cogastro which is a powerful SaaS-based solution that supports, automates, and enhances insect farming, won and received the main prize: up to 100 000 Eur investment established by Lithuanian Business Angel Network members and CoInvest Capital and a 3000 EUR cash prize from Triniti Jurex for legal services.

The Lithuanian startup “Amio” which created an omnichannel messaging API that allows companies to reach their customers on any messenger, took 2nd place by winning a 2000 EUR cash prize for Triniti Jurex legal services and 3rd place was taken with a 1000 EUR cash prize for the same services have won an OXSICO startup. This startup combines a streamlined and effective plagiarism prevention service with an orientation towards organizations and institutions.

“Cloudvisor”, an official partner of AWS (Amazon Web Services), has set up three prizes with 5000 US dollar worth AWS credits and during the event elected the startups: OXSICO, Bitskout and Cogastro that were most worthy to win this prize.

The startups were evaluated by an expert commission consisting of investors, business people, representatives of accelerators, and the experts of the startup ecosystem.
