Today, during the Lithuanian Business Angels Network (LitBAN) opening event Startup Lithuania began the registration for Startup Fair 2018 Pitch Battle, happening 16-17th May. Moreover, the impressive 100 000 EUR investment fund prize was announced.

The registration to Startup Fair 2018 Pitch Battle is now open and will close 2nd of May. Best pitched startups at Startup Fair will be offered mentorship and a share of investment of 100 000 EUR. The investment will be provided by a group of Lithuanian Business Angels and public venture capital fund Koinvesticinis Fondas. Additional encouraging prizes will be offered by other event sponsors.

The highly anticipated Lithuanian business angel network LitBAN was initiated by a group of business angels operating in Lithuania. They are attempting to gather 100 founding members for the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the restoration of Lithuania.

LitBAN expects to further strengthen the local start-up ecosystem and enable new business ideas to mature and accelerate faster. At this stage of the Lithuanian Business Angel Network the main goal is to publicize the possibility of attracting investments from business angels and investment syndicates.

Startup Fair aims to be the main startup event in Lithuania and the neighboring regions, gathering investors and startups striving for innovations. The programme will include conferences with the most respected local and international speakers; B2B part dedicated to pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings between international investors and startups; and PitchBattle with carefully hand-picked startups.
