Hacker Games: Vilnius. All You Need to Know

Hacker Games, the main hackathon series in Lithuania, is scheduled for 25-27 of November (Friday afternoon to Sunday) at Vilnius Tech Park. This is what you need to know at this point.

We just stepped beyond 100 registered participants, and our previous experience suggests we shall have 100 to 150 more in the last weeks before the event. So first and foremost – book your ‘seat’ by registering now!

Please shortly introduce the idea you wish to pursue during Hacker Games as we will have a pre-event to help you to polish both your idea and your pitch on the 15th of November, at 17 hrs., at ISM's Innobase (Arkliu st 18, Vilnius)! Should you not wish to pitch and you are bringing your skills to the event, please name them while registering.

The event is brought to you by our main partner – CSC Baltic – with their unrivalled experience in digitalising companies. They shall bring their pool of experienced mentors in the areas of product and project management, design and other fields.

We shall have four tracks – software (powered by Startup Highway, 500 EUR in cash as main prize, plus 500 EUR in cash from SpectroCoin, plus 1 month-long membership at Vilnius Tech Park co-working from CSC Baltic), hardware (powered by VGTU LinkMenų fabrikas, 3 month-long membership at their premises as the main prize, plus a Deeper PRO+ for best engineer), games (powered by Game Insight, 1K EUR gift card for gadgetry as main prize, plus pro licences from Unity) and smart energy (powered by Lietuvos energija, 1K EUR in cash as main prize).

As always, Hacker Games are free to attend, food, snacks, drinks and swag (Stuff We All Get…:) will be provided.

Initial ideas will be pitched on Friday afternoon, at the beginning of the hackathon. Final pitches will take place on Sunday afternoon.

Hacker Games will take place at the brand new Vilnius Tech Park – Antakalnio 17, Vilnius.

Official communication (on stage, by email, online, etc.) will be in English, but obviously, you can use any language whilst working and relaxing…
