Hacker Games, the main hackathon series in Lithuania, organized by Startup Lithuania and Koralis, is setting sail for Klaipėda on 23-25 (Friday to Sunday) of September. This is what you need to know at this point:

• It’s a hackathon, so it means that you’ll be making products or at least prototypes over the course of weekend. If you already have an idea – great, just come and implement it together with dozens of creative minds you’ll find at the venue. If you don’t know what you wish to work on – worry not, you’ll hear plenty of them on the stage and will join a team/project of your liking;

• You will need team members. You can start looking for them now or at the venue. Participants will introduce their ideas and will announce skills they seek for on the main stage at the beginning of Hacker Games, so you will be able to choose a team or find team members. However, you can start presenting your idea and your needs right now on Facebook.

• Of course, being a lone wolf is possible, and yet not really recommended…

• There will be three separate tracks: hardware, software and games with different prizes and mentors. Join any of them.

• Speaking of mentors, have a look at the first confirmed ones, and yet many more are still to join!

• Speaking of prizes, 1000 EUR in cash is confirmed for the winners of Software track. 1000 EUR-worth trip to industry event is confirmed for the winners of Games track. Winners of Hardware track will be awarded with an electronic lab kit. Many more additional prizes are to follow – keep an eye or our Facebook page!

• Hacker Games: Klaipėda could not happen without our friends: Koralis, PackPin, GameInsight, Startup Highway, Green Garage, TransferGo, Unity, Technorama, Vilkyškių Pieninė and others.

• Hacker Games will take place at Klaipėda' Science and Technology Park (Vilhelmo Berbomo 10). Games will start at 18 hrs on Friday, 23 of September. Don’t be late! The event will end on Sunday at around 19 hrs.

• Food and snacks will be provided, please mark your dietary preferences when registering.
