Lithuania’s fast-growing gaming ecosystem is getting another level-up: the second edition of the GameTech Accelerator has officially kicked off with 10 new studios ready to take their game ideas global.
“Lithuania’s game scene is buzzing with creativity and potential. GameTech accelerator proves that with the right mentorship and international exposure, our local teams can become more competitive,” said Karolina Urbonaitė, Head of Startup Lithuania at Innovation Agency Lithuania. “We’re proud to be part of this initiative that’s not only accelerating ga1me studios but also reshaping our startup ecosystem.”
The second cohort features a mix of international and Lithuanian studios working on innovative, story-rich, and tech-driven games:
- Cetetior (Germany) – Detective of the Dead: A noir mystery meets supernatural adventure.
- Matima Studio (Lithuania) – Tempo Punk: A rhythm-based experience set in a futuristic universe.
- Cozy Games Studio (Denmark) – Spirit World: A free-to-play farming sim in a magical spirit realm.
- Fromdust (Spain) – OxySpace: A mobile strategy game about surviving in hostile space environments.
- Persisplay (Lithuania) – Fatherhood: A touching side-scrolling war game exploring the emotional weight of parenting.
- GestLT (Lithuania) – Lost Host: A whimsical tale of a toy cat on a mysterious journey.
- Moonleaf Studio (Lithuania) – Halve: A beautiful puzzle-adventure focused on reuniting two spiritual halves.
- Honeyplot Games (Lithuania) – A cozy, narrative-driven shop management game full of warmth and charm.
- SensePilot (Lithuania) – A cutting-edge gaming experience using advanced sensory tech.
- Book Smugglers (Lithuania) – A daring literary adventure where books become weapons of resistance.
A Startup Lithuania initiative, funding by the European Union, and delivered in partnership with the international accelerator GameBCN, GameTech is the country’s first and only accelerator tailored specifically for video game developers. Following a highly successful first batch, the second cohort is set to build on that momentum by attracting even more international interest and supporting homegrown talent.
Over the coming months, participating teams will receive tailored mentorship, industry connections, and business development support — all designed to help them grow sustainable studios and publish commercially viable games.
