We are thrilled to announce the selected participants of the GOAL Program as part of the Startup Lithuania Accelerator, powered by Plug and Play. After carefully considering and evaluating their progress and attitude throughout the program, we have chosen two outstanding startups: AQ22 and Biohifas.

Meet the Selected Startups

AQ22 is revolutionizing the financial sector by developing AI-driven solutions to support financial institutions’ operations. They are developing the upcoming AI Co-workers for Financial Institutions. Their innovative approach aims to enhance efficiency and productivity within the industry.

Biohifas is a startup at the forefront of sustainability, using fungal fermentation technology to transform industrial food by-products into nutritious food. This groundbreaking approach not only addresses food waste but also contributes to the production of sustainable food sources.

In addition to AQ22 and Biohifas, two more startups will be selected during Batch 2, which kicks off in August this year. We are excited to see more innovative solutions, and passionate entrepreneurs join the program.

What is the GOAL Program?

The Plug and Play GOAL (Global Overseas Acceleration & Learning) Program is a 6-week immersion experience into the Silicon Valley ecosystem. It is designed to enable early-stage tech startups to pursue business development, fundraising, and other strategic opportunities. Key elements of the GOAL program include:

• Daily workshops with subject matter experts
• One-on-one mentorship sessions
• Startup founder story sessions
• Internal and external pitching and networking events
• Community-building events
• Participation in the Plug and Play Summit

The main purpose of the GOAL program is to promote economic development through innovation, internationalization, and support for entrepreneurship with international partners like Startup Lithuania and the Innovation Agency of Lithuania.

The GOAL Accelerator Program Experience

During the program, selected startups from various locations worldwide get together at Plug and Play’s headquarters to immerse themselves in the unique Silicon Valley ecosystem. This year, the startups from the Startup Lithuania Accelerator will share experiences and learning sessions with other startups from acceleration programs in Canada, Germany, and other countries, providing a unique networking and development experience.
