Hello Lithuania and welcome to Iceland Innovation Week, a festival that celebrates and showcases innovation, taking place at the end of May every year in Reykjavik, Iceland!

At Iceland Innovation Week we have events ranging from panel discussions and company visits to happy hours and an icy ocean are held in locations in Reykjavik throughout the week. That means not only founders and startups but also larger companies and public institutions participate.

Our aim is to increase the visibility of the innovation sector, create a platform where knowledge can be shared, and become a vibrant, international marketing window.

Program:

• Day 1 (May 15th)  – Takeover day
• Day 2 (May 16th) – Ok, bye climate summit, Silicon Vikings Pitch Competition and afterparty
• throughout the week (May 13th-17th) conference partners will host their own side events in the city center

Festival themes for 2024: 

• Waste not, want not: Innovations that address the circular economy and sustainability accross different industries
• Been there, fund that: A category mainly for startups and investors with focus on funding and investments
• Health is wealth: Take a wellness break with this category from health tech and med tech to mental health awareness
• Pardon the Disruption: There’s no innovation without a little disruption. This category is all about highlighting tech innovations.
• Fun and games: We’d like to learn more about the startups and companies playing their way to the top.
