Mobile Angels, an innovative software development company, based in Kaunas, Lithuania, unveiled Squiro – a free mobile route tracking and sharing application. It is aimed at active leisure enthusiasts who want simple and easy to use personal assistant to navigate them in their adventures, track activities, take photos and share their experiences with friends.
“Ranks of active leisure fans carrying mobile phones are increasing every day. Many of them do not want to bother with various settings, registration, confirmations. All they want is to navigate themselves in surroundings, track their movement, take pictures and share their trips on social networks easily with just several taps,” Sergey Cymbal, CEO of Mobile Angels, was quoted in a press release.
A clean, unclogged Squiro interface with detailed outdoor-specific map and a trip’s track helps to explore new places and come back safely. Zoom in, zoom out or orient it in your moving direction for a better navigation. Key statistics, such as trip duration, current and average speed, ascent, descent and altitude data allow to check the progress in one glance. If you don’t need them at the moment, you can minimize the statistics bar with a single tap.
Currently Squiro is available for Android OS in English, Russian, Lithuanian and Slovenian languages. Check it at http://squiro.info/ or on Google Play. The iOS version is coming soon.
Mobile Angels is developing and plans to launch another navigation application with ultimate augmented reality experience in the December.
