Launch an app in Brasil right before the start of FIFA World Cup 2014 – check! Lithuanian startup TRAFI scored it's goal and now you have TRAFI Brasil, public transport app to find your way around in Sao Paulo and Rio de Jeneiro.
“The biggest issue when launching new cities is always about understanding local commuting specifics. Which public transport types commuters prefer, which alternative routes they choose if there is a metro strike or metro is very crowded and many other questions like this. So thanks to our so called “Self learning algorithm” and crowd-sourced data from actual users we are able to tune the data very fast and learn local commuting secrets which we wouldn’t be able to learn even if we would ride public transport ourselves in Sao Paulo and Rio for weeks”, says Martynas Gudonavicius, CEO and co-founder of TRAFI.
Using TRAFI you will find the best way to commute from point A to point B, have your favourite stops and departures always at your fingertips, check live traffic jams, schedules and much more. All types of public transport are covered – metro, trams, ferries, buses, trains.
After a start in Sao Paulo and Rio de Jeneiro, TRAFI team is planning to launch more cities in Brazil and start looking into Mexico.
