Helping Lithuanian startups go global through an international scale-up contest!

Next Big Idea Lithuania supports the next generation of Lithuanian entrepreneurs and business leaders to expand to the North American market with the goal of attracting scalable startups to transform the local economy, drive job creation, and enable startup expansion through the creation of a 1-week startup softlanding program delivered to the startups in person (COVID- 19 permitting).

Pace Global Advantage is partnering with the DMZ to develop a soft-landing program for Lithuanian startups utilizing the DMZ’s expertise in program design, virtual soft-landing, program coordination, and virtual support.

Together, PGA and DMZ will select 5 of the best tech innovators in Lithuania. One founder from each organization will win a trip with flight and one week stay in Toronto covered by PGA. 

Toronto is:

• Home to the second-largest IT cluster and financial centre in North America
• One of the largest startup ecosystems in the world
• Most multicultural city in the world

To apply, startups must have:

• An innovative business idea enabled by technology
• Potential for international expansion in the near future
• Market validation and potential for rapid growth

Programming:

The trip will be tailor-made to suit needs of each company and their industry focus. Winners will have access to World-class Entrepreneurs-In-Residence, DMZ Alumni-In-Residence and Legal Mentorship provided by Pace Law Firm.
