International startup Mobile Worker in over the last two years got €500k investment and this week launched official field service and mobile workforce management software worldwide.

Mobile Worker started as a B2C Android application and accumulated 15K users during last year while investing €1000 for advertisement. Although there are more time tracking tools in the market, it seems that Mobile Worker team put the focus on the right direction. Therefore primary product prospects were evaluated very quickly and two investment holding companies JBO Holding AS and Uni Micro Holding AS invested €500k to develop a B2B solution.

“An investment helped us to strengthen our team with experienced developers”, said the CEO of Mobile Worker Ramunė Augutė

Mobile Worker launched a tool that consists of Android and Web applications and helps companies with field workers to optimize work hours of their employees. The solution empowers to track working hours, to collect expenses and documents for invoicing, to control and monitor team performance.

“Despite the fact that we haven’t invested money into marketing, more than 100 companies have sent requests to become first Mobile Worker solution testers and users even before the solution had been fully developed. The demand for monitoring work processes is growing in the market, and thus Mobile Worker is the right tool for companies, which manage field workers and have a need to track employee productivity, as well as collect all project information in one place”, she added.

Even before public launch Mobile Worker signed a contract with 3 major Norwegian construction companies that have more than 100 employees. During private beta, launched in the middle of December, about 100 companies tried beta Mobile Worker version, most testers coming from Germany, Norway and Russia.
